HOW TO JOIN THE
CLIMB A MOUNTAIN Challenge™
Note: If you’re accepting a challenge, the goal is to complete it within 7-10 days.
STEP 1
Decide WHO or WHAT you’re participating in the challenge for — whether it’s a friend or loved one affected, or simply for raising FTD and/or general dementia awareness.
STEP 2
Decide what you want to do. We suggest just stretching yourself a notch beyond your comfort zone, to do whatever will metaphorically make you feel like you’re CLIMBING A MOUNTAIN. Even if that just means walking around the block once, that’s great, this is simply your own personal commitment and comfort level.
STEP 3
Take a video of yourself completing your challenge, whether that’s your last several steps up a mountain or around the block.
STEP 4
Upload your video to social media, tagging and challenging at least 1-3 of your friends. The post should include:
A. YOUR CHALLENGE STATEMENT
“Hi, this is Eric Battersby. I accepted and just completed a challenge from Lewis Walton to do the Climb a Mountain Challenge, for frontotemporal dementia.”
B. YOUR CHALLENGE LIST
Tag at least 1-3 friends, challenging them to do the Climb a Mountain Challenge™ too.
C. THE LINK TO THE CHALLENGE
Link them right here to this page
(https://www.frontotemporaldementia.org/climb-a-mountain-challenge/)
D. YOUR DONATION
Mention that you are donating to Change the World Films (optional: mention the amount being donated).
STEP 5
Make a donation to show your support.
